Steps 1 to 3: Before Any Bet

1. Check that you are 21 or over and complete the operator's identity check; payouts wait on it.
2. Fund the account from a GCash, Maya, GoTyme or bank account in your own name, with a deposit limit set first.

Steps 4 to 6: Reading a Price and Checking the Margin

3. The 5.3 points above 100% are the bookmaker's overround. On a balanced book that works out to about 5% of stakes (1 − 1 ÷ 1.053), and it behaves like a house edge. A margin-free price would be 2.00 on each side.

Steps 7 and 8: Building the Slip and Checking Its Return

1. Add a single selection to the slip and type the stake, say ₱200 at 1.90.
2. Check the displayed return against your own sum: ₱200 × 1.90 = ₱380, of which ₱180 is profit.
3. If a parlay tempts you, multiply the legs first: three legs at 1.90 give 1.90 × 1.90 × 1.90 ≈ 6.86.
4. Check what the parlay costs: if each leg returns about 95 centavos per peso on average, three legs return 0.95 × 0.95 × 0.95 ≈ 0.857, so roughly 14% of stakes is kept on average, nearly three times the cost of a single bet.

Steps 9 to 11: Your First Bingo Round

1. Open a room and read its card price, winning pattern and prize structure; all of these vary by operator and room.
2. Work out your share of the cards. If 200 cards are in play and you hold 4, your chance of holding the card that wins a single-winner prize is 4 ÷ 200 = 2%, ignoring ties.
3. Weigh the prize against the cost. Suppose cards cost ₱10 and the prize is ₱1,500: 4 cards cost ₱40, and 2% × ₱1,500 = ₱30 of expected prize, an expected cost of ₱10 for the round.
4. Test the urge to buy more. Holding 20 cards while others hold 196 gives 20 ÷ 216 ≈ 9.3%; the ₱200 outlay carries about ₱139 of expected prize, an expected cost near ₱61.

The room figures are an illustration. What matters is the method: your chance and your cost rise together, and the share of card money a room pays back in prizes decides the average cost per peso.

Step 12: Settling Up and Checking the Whole Session

Afterwards, compare what happened with the average cost you calculated, not with how the evening felt.
